On Call4Kids is committed to working with any organization who share our goal of reducing the impact of firearm injuries on children. Firearm injuries remain the leading cause of death in children. We are so grateful for this collaboration with the IACP to elevate the message of secure storage to save lives. ICYMI We were honored to be invited to speak at the 2025 IACP meeting last week! We have been working with leaders from the IACP to address firearm injures in kids with a particular focus on secure storage within the home. Firearm injuries remain the leading cause of death in children. Healthcare workers and law enforcement have the same goal of preventing injuries and making our communities safer places to live and grow. We are proud of this ongoing collaboration and the work we are doing outside of our focus on passing common sense gun control legislation. Gun violence has become ubiquitous in our lives, in the news, and on our screens. No one pays the price for these senseless acts more than kids. Firearm Injuries are there leading cause of death of children. Not cancer, not car accidents.
