On Call 4 Kids Legislative Advocacy Day

We invite healthcare professionals to join us in Washington, DC for our sixth day of legislative advocacy. This is a non-partisan event where we meet with members of Congress to discuss gun violence as a public health crisis. We have now had hundreds of meetings on the Hill and have been fortunate to have several hundred healthcare workers from across the country join us for previous advocacy days.
No prior advocacy experience is required. As healthcare workers, you already bring essential expertise in injury prevention. Please plan to reserve 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for meetings. We welcome a diverse group of participants, including students, therapists, medical assistants, nurses, advanced practice clinicians, and physicians.
To help offset travel costs, we are offering $200 stipends for the first two healthcare workers per state who RSVP to attend the DC fly-in. Reimbursement will be provided after travel is completed and will require a plane ticket or hotel receipt. Reimbursement will be issued in the form of a gift card. We also encourage participants to explore whether CME funds from their institutions can support travel.
