We are physicians and healthcare workers on a mission to ensure children are no longer the innocent victims of gun violence.

As healthcare professionals, we are dedicated to the health and well-being of children. And today, there is no greater public health crisis impacting America’s children than the gun violence epidemic. OnCall4Kids is a non-partisan coalition of healthcare advocates dedicated to creating a safer world for all children, free from gun violence.

Founded by pediatricians and specialists, we bring a unique perspective to this critical issue and promise to:

  • Use our voices to lobby for federal firearms safety legislation 
  • Use evidence-based data and personal testimony to support our expert opinion that improved gun safety legislation can help save lives
  • Take a scientific approach to the very human crisis of gun violence against children
  • Approach the crisis of gun violence the same way that we do with our patients, bringing together data and deep human empathy to solve problems

Our profession brings with it a promise to safeguard our children. We will not give up this fight until we can guarantee a safer world for each and every one of them.

OnCall4Kids believes that all children should be healthy, safe, and free from the threat of gun violence.  

We recognize that minoritized youth living in historically marginalized communities are disproportionately impacted by gun violence. We are committed to promoting the principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility:
